Vaccinations are never a worry if you think you’re only going to visit your besties!
Our sweet little friend Chanel visits us for casual hang-outs between vaccinations. Chanel is a little nervous around needles, so we've devised a plan with her owners to get her more comfortable. Our team sit with Chanel on the floor and give her lots of pats and scratches to get her settled, especially around the nape of her neck where her injections will be administered. This positive play helps Chanel to become accustomed with the clinic outside of a sore or scary visit, getting her familiar with our team and having her neck touched. We love this plan because not only do we get to see Chanel's beautiful face more often, but it makes for a very comfortable trip to the vet when needed.
Although not your typical tale of bravery, we still think it's important to celebrate a pet boldly facing their fears for the sake of their health!
